Hybrid SaaS – Platform for Software as a Service in the Public Sector

I will explain the critical role this ‘Hybrid SaaS‘ architecture can play

I wasn’t able to attend and present at the recent OMG conference on public sector Cloud Computing, however I will still be uploading my sides so they’ll be available shortly.

The others are available here for download. As you’ll see it was a powerful mix of speakers from around the world reporting on where each government sector is at in terms of their adoption.

In particular the host Bob Marcus recommends checking out “Cloud Computing Best Practices for Acquisition Presentation” from the Federal Government.

How these various best practices could be applied in Ontario is one part of the purpose of our forthcoming Drummond Report white paper, including what my speaking topic was for the OMG event - Hybrid SaaS – Platform for Software as a Service in the public sector.

I will explain the critical role this ‘Hybrid SaaS‘ architecture can play in enabling more multi-tenant application scenarios, as part of consolidating IT infrastructure to save big costs.

You can register to receive a copy of this paper here, and I will also announce the availability of the slides there too, so sign up if you’d like to be notified of when they come online.
